Heterozygotes are wild-type GFP+ & mKate2+, and segregate wild-type GFP+ & mKate2+, GFP+ non-mKate2 gk5416 homozygotes (lethal/sterile), arrested hT1 homozygotes (mKate2+), and dead eggs. gk5416 is a deletion of 638 bp with Calarco/Colaiacovo selection cassette conferring myo-2::GFP and G418 resistance inserted at break. Left flanking sequence: CAACCAGTCCACCTTTCTACGTGTATTACA. Right flanking sequence: CGGGGATGGCGCGTTGCTGGATGGCAGATG.
