Pick animals with GFP expression in head neurons (AIY) to maintain. roGFP can be used to monitor redox status of the mitochondrial matrix in the six touch receptor neurons: the oxidation-reduction status of mitochondrial matrix can be monitored with roGFP, a GFP variant that increases brightness in a more oxidized environment.
