Heterozygotes are WT and segregate WT, Lon males and thin sterile Unc animals. Maintain by picking WT.

Animals with the duplication are Unc. Animals which have lost the duplication are DpyUnc and arrest in early larval development.

Heterozygotes are WT and segregate WT, Dpy (these are thin, sterile and Unc after L1--there is no sexual maturation), and Lon males. Maintain by picking WT.

qIs48 is an insertion of ccEx9747 with markers: myo-2::GFP expressed brightly in the pharynx throughout development, pes-10::GFP expressed in embryos, and a gut promoter driving GFP in the intestine, and is homozygous lethal. Segregates WT glowing hets, non-glowing sterile Dpys, very rare homozygous hT2 glowing animals, and dead eggs. Do not distribute this strain; other labs should request it directly from the CGC. Note: qIs48 has been observed to recombine off hT2, typically leaving behind a functional homozygous viable hT2 with Bli-4 phenotype.

Heterozygotes are medium Dpy and glowing. heSi45 [mcm-4::mCherry + unc-119(+)] IV. This strain contains an S-phase marker that will express mCherry in all cells that undergo cell division, providing a useful alternative to BrdU and EdU staining that is suitable for live imaging. heSi193 [mcm-4p::CDK sensor::eGFP::tbb- 2 3'UTR + Cbr-unc119(+)] II. This strain carries a GFP S-phase marker expressed in all cells that undergo cell division. Localization of GFP alters between S-phase and interphase. Reference: van Rijnberk LM, et al. PLoS One. 2017 Feb 3;12(2):e0171600.
