vtIs7. Show Description
vtIs7 [dat-1p::GFP]. Integrated reporter with bright GFP observable in all dopaminergic neurons and processes. No behavioral changes have been noted in relation to transgene integration. DA neuron degeneration is evident with easily detectible loss of GFP expression (e.g. Hardaway et al, J. Neurosci, 2015). Reference: Nass, R., et al. (2002).
