Superficially wild-type. sgIs2 can be used to generate single-copy insertions in C. elegans Chromosome I. This strain is part of the SKI PLACE System, which can be used to generate single-copy insertions into the C. elegans genome at specific safe harbor locations on each chromosome through CRISPR-Cas9-mediated insertion.
