Strains contributed by this laboratory

Strain Genotype Species Description
EU1004 tac-1(or402) II. C. elegans Homozygous mutant animals give rise to >97% dead embyros at the restrictive temperature of 26C, with embryos exhibiting a lack of pronuclear migration at the one-cell stage. Homozygous mutant animals give rise to 50% dead embryos at the permissive temperature of 15C. Maintain at 15C.
EU1172 zyg-9(or593) II. C. elegans Temperature sensitive. Maintain at 15C. At 26C, animals give rise to 99% dead embryos, with embryos exhibiting lack of pronuclear migration at the one-cell stage. At 15C, animals give rise to 73% dead embryos.
EU1355 zyg-9(or628) II. C. elegans Temperature sensitive. Maintain at 15C. At 26C, animals give rise to 100% dead embryos, with embryos exhibiting lack of pronuclear migration at the one-cell stage. At 15C, animals give rise to 42% dead embryos.
EU1510 zyg-9(or634) II. C. elegans Temperature sensitive. Maintain at 15C. At 26C, animals give rise to 100% dead embryos, with embryos exhibiting lack of pronuclear migration at the one-cell stage. At 15C, animals give rise to viable progeny.
EU944 tac-1(or455) II. C. elegans Homozygous mutant animals give rise to >99% dead embyros at the restrictive temperature of 26C, with embryos exhibiting a lack of pronuclear migration at the one-cell stage. Homozygous mutant animals give rise to viable progeny at the permissive temperature of 15C. Maintain at 15C.
GZ264 unc-119(ed3) III; isIs17. C. elegans isIs17 [pGZ295 (pie-1p::GFP::pcn-1(W03D2.4)) + pDP#MM051 (unc-119(+))] Maintain at 25C if possible to avoid possible germ line silencing. The entire coding sequence of PCNA (PCN-1, W03D2.4) was PCR-amplified and the resulting fragment cloned into pie-1::GFP germline expression vector to generate pGZ295, which was co-bombarded with pDP#MM051, which carries an unc-119 cDNA. The transgenic line behaves as though the two plasmids have been jointly integrated.
GZ491 dpy-11(e224) sas-5(t2033) V/nT1 [let-?(m435)] (IV;V). C. elegans
