Strain Genotype Species Description
CB3060 sup-9(n180) II; unc-93(e1500) III. C. elegans Recessive Suppressor. XO Fertile hermaphrodite. WT phenotype.
GS422 evl-21(ar122) unc-36(e251)/unc-93(e1500) dpy-17(e164) III. C. elegans Heterozygotes are WT and segregate WT, DpyUncs and Sterile Unc-36 which have an everted vulva. Do not distribute this strain; other labs should request it from the CGC. This strain cannot be distributed to commercial organizations. This strain cannot be used for any commercial purpose or for work on human subjects.
JK659 mog-3(q74)/unc-93(e1500) dpy-17(e164) III. C. elegans Heterozygote. Do not distribute this strain; other labs should request it from the CGC. This strain cannot be distributed to commercial organizations. This strain cannot be used for any commercial purpose or for work on human subjects.
MT1122 sup-11(n403) I; unc-93(e1500) III. C. elegans Phenotype: small, scrawny, thin, lays few eggs. unc-93(e1500) rubberband phenotype is completely suppressed by sup-11(n403) so only sup-11 phenotype is visible. n403 is semidominant.
MT1132 unc-93(e1500) sup-18(n463) III. C. elegans
MT19321 unc-93(e1500) III. C. elegans Use as a replacement strain for SP457. Rubberband Unc.
MT2147 lin-8(n111) II; unc-93(e1500) lin-9(n112) III. C. elegans Rubberband Unc. Muv.
MT3286 unc-93(e1500n1412) III. C. elegans Wild type. n1412 loss-of-function suppresses the e1500sd rubberband phenotype.
MT3289 unc-93(e1500n1415) III. C. elegans Wild type. n1415 loss-of-function suppresses the e1500sd rubberband phenotype.
MT3329 unc-93(e1500n1419) III. C. elegans Wild Type.
MT3840 unc-93(e1500n1415) dpy-17(e164) III; twk-18(e1913)/+ X. C. elegans Pick DpyUnc worms to maintain, as e1913 is a dominant Unc and a recessive lethal. Actually, the Uncs are not very Dpy, so pick non-Dpy-looking animals that don't move well. e1913 previously called unc-110.
MT4535 unc-93(e1500n1912) III. C. elegans Non-Unc.
MT534 unc-93(e1500) dpy-17(e164) III. C. elegans DpyUnc. Semi-dominant Unc.
MT573 dpy-1(e1) unc-93(e1500) III. C. elegans DpyUnc. e1500 is semi-dominant.
MT5920 nP48 sup-9(n1330) II; unc-93(e1500) III. C. elegans Non-Unc phenotype.
MT690 nDf6/unc-93(e1500) dpy-17(e164) III. C. elegans Heterozygotes are Unc (Rubberband) and segregate Unc, DpyUnc and early larval lethals (nDf6 homozygotes). Maintain by picking Unc non-Dpy.
MT691 nDf7/unc-93(e1500) dpy-17(e164) III. C. elegans Hets are Unc(Rubberband) and Egl. Segregate Unc, DpyUnc and early larval lethals (L1). Maintain by picking Uncs. Received new stock 1/3/94.
MT692 nDf8/unc-93(e1500) dpy-17(e164) III. C. elegans Hets are Unc(Rubberband) and Egl. Segregate Unc, DpyUnc, and dead eggs. Maintain by picking Uncs.
MT696 nDf12/unc-93(e1500) dpy-17(e164) III. C. elegans Hets are Unc (Rubberband) and Egl. Segregate Unc, DpyUnc and dead eggs. Maintain by picking Uncs. CGC received new stock 8/98.
MT697 nDf13/unc-93(e1500) dpy-17(e164) III. C. elegans Heterozygotes are Unc(Rubberband) and Egl, and segregate Unc, DpyUnc and dead eggs. Maintain by picking Unc.
MT699 nDf15/unc-93(e1500) dpy-17(e164) III. C. elegans Heterozygotes are Unc and segregate Unc, DpyUnc and dead eggs. Maintain by picking Unc.
MT725 unc-93(e1500) III; sup-10(n183) X. C. elegans Non-Unc.
MT765 unc-93(e1500n224) III. C. elegans WT phenotype.
MT775 unc-93(e1500n234) III. C. elegans Wild type phenotype. e1500 rubberband phenotype is suppressed by the loss-of-function n234 mutation.
SP457 unc-93(e1500) III. C. elegans Rubberband Unc. Reverts. There is some question regarding e1500 in this strain. Please see MT19321 as a better strain.
TY1353 yDf10 unc-32(e189)/unc-93(e1500) dpy-17(e164) III. C. elegans Heterozygotes are Unc-93 and segregate more Unc-93, yDf10 homozygotes (dead eggs) and Unc-93 Dpy-17 homozygotes (young dpy-17 larvae are easily recognizable as abnormal spindle-shaped things). Difficult to maintain and use. yDf10 apparently causes semi-sterility (a second strain constructed by the Mark Edgley at the CGC, yDf10/qC1, exhibits same sterility), and unc-93 is Egl and difficult to mate into. Some Df homozygotes are laid, but most remain inside the mother.
