Shipping strains through SunyBiotech

Because shipping to China can be problematic, we offer another shipping option. Suny Biotech has been helping labs in China receive their strain orders. If you are interested in this option, then please contact Lancy Hu at Suny Biotech (huxl@sunybiotech.com) to discuss having your order sent to her company; they will provide additional instructions for placing your order. Your order will be placed through the CGC website as usual but provide her shipping address and include a comment in the order notes during checkout saying, “Please send strains to SunyBiotech via FedEx.”

Each lab’s order will be packed in an individual small envelope for shipping. Multiple individual orders/envelopes will be combined into a single larger express courier shipment to Suny. They will take care of clearing customs to receive the combined express package. Once they have received the combined package, they will send your individual package to you by regular mail.

The CGC is not involved in billing Suny’s costs for this service: any arrangements for receiving and shipping would be entirely between Suny and your lab.

We do not require that labs use Suny Biotech to receive their orders. This is an optional service that has been working well for some labs in China.
