JN3038 C. elegans qjIs11; peIs3042; peIs2100; qjIs14. Show Description
qjIs11 [glr-1p::SVNLS2::TagBFPsyn + ser-2(prom2)::SVNLS2::TagBFPsyn]. peIs3042 [eat-4p::svnls2::TagRFP675syn + lin-44p::GFP]. peIs2100 [H-20p::NLS4::mCherry]. qjIs14 [H20p::NLS::YC2.60]. Suitable for whole-brain calcium imaging. mCherry and YC2.60 expression in almost all head neurons. BFP and RFP are also expressed to annotate neurons. H20p is a pan-neuronal promoter expressed in almost all neurons, GLR glial cells, XXX hypodermal cells, pharyngeal gland cells and HMC cells. Reference: Toyoshima Y et al. NC3182 C. elegans otIs181 III; otIs138 X; otIs396. Show Description
otIs181[dat-1::mCherry + ttx-3::mCherry] III. otIs138[ser-2(prom3)::GFP + rol-6(su1006)] X. otIs396 [ace-1prom2::NLS::tagRFP]. Rollers. dat-1::mCherry labels ADE, CEP, and PDE neurons. ttx3::mCherry labels AIY neurons. ser-2(prom3)::GFP labels OLL, PDE, and PVD neurons. ace-1prom2::NLS::tagRFP labels CEP and OLL neurons. PVD can be identified by expression only GFP. An additional pair of GFP-only cells anterior to OLL are occasionally observed in this strain. Can be used to isolate PVD by FACS (green-only). Used by CeNGEN project for RNA-Seq ( Reference: Barbara O’Brien (2017) Diverse genetic and transcriptional programs mediate dendritic development of a nociceptor neuron. SRS306 C. elegans pha-1(e2123) III; lite-1(ce314) X; sraEx306. Show Description
sraEx306 [ser-2(prom2)::chop-2(H134R)::TagRFP + ser-2(prom2)::mKO + pBX(pha-1(+))]. Maintain at 25C. This transgenic line expresses mKO and TagRFP in AIY, AIZ and RME in the head, and has little response to blue light in the absence of ATR. In the presence of ATR asymmetrical stimulation of AIY causes the worm to turn in the same direction the head was bent when AIY was excited, whereas asymmetrical stimulation of AIZ or RME causes the worm to turn in the opposite direction to which the head was bent when AIZ or RME was excited.
