|BC2892||C. elegans||dpy-18(e364)/eT1 III; unc-46(e177) air-1(s579)/eT1 V. Show Description
Heterozygotes are WT and segregate WT, Unc-36, DpyUncLet (Mel->egg lethal) and dead eggs. Maintain by picking WT. Previously called let-412(s579). See also WBPaper00005639.
|JN579||C. elegans||peIs579. Show Description
peIs579 [ttx-3p::casp1 + ttx-3p::Venus + lin-44p::GFP]. AIY neurons are ablated by specific expression of caspase. Reference: Kunitomo H, et al., 2013, Nat Commun. 2013;4:2210. doi: 10.1038/ncomms3210.
|OP579||C. elegans||unc-119(tm4063) III; wgIs579. Show Description
wgIs579 [dpff-1::TY1::EGFP::3xFLAG + unc-119(+)]. TY1::EGFP::3xFLAG tag inserted in frame at C-terminus of coding sequence by recombineering. Expression of transgene confirmed by GFP. References: Sarov M, et al. Nat Methods (2006) 10:839-44. Zhong, M, et al. PLoS Genet (2010) 6(2):e1000848. Strain was constructed as part of the Regulatory Element Project, part of modENCODE (http://www.modencode.org).
|SS579||C. elegans||pgl-1(bn101) IV. Show Description
Temperature sensitive sterility. The sterility has both a maternal and a non-maternal component. Can be maintained indefinitely at low temperatures (16-23 C), with 7-19% sterile offspring. When low-temperature-grown homozygotes are allowed to produce progeny at 25C, the percentage of sterile offspring is 75-85%; at 26C the percentage of sterile offspring is 100%.
