ZD39 C. elegans agIs219 III; pmk-1(km25) IV. Show Description
agIs219 [T24B8.5p::GFP::unc-54-3' UTR + ttx-3p::GFP::unc-54-3' UTR] III. Intestinal GFP expression from agIs219 is abolished by km25. References: Shivers RP, et al. PLoS Genet. 2010 Apr 1;6(4):e1000892. Shivers RP, et al. Cell Host Microbe. 2009 Oct 22;6(4):321-30.
VC592 C. elegans pmk-1(ok811) IV/nT1 [qIs51] (IV;V). Show Description
B0218.3. Homozygous lethal deletion chromosome balanced by GFP-marked translocation. Heterozygotes are WT with pharyngeal GFP signal, and segregate WT GFP, arrested nT1 aneuploids, and non-GFP ok811 homozygotes (probable embryonic arrest). nT1[qIs51] homozygotes inviable. Pick WT GFP and check for correct segregation of progeny to maintain. Attribution: This strain was provided by the C. elegans Reverse Genetics Core Facility at the University of British Columbia, which is part of the international C. elegans Gene Knockout Consortium, which should be acknowledged in any publications resulting from its use. ZD326 C. elegans agIs219 atf-7(qd22qd130) III; pmk-1(km25) IV. Show Description
agIs219 [T24B8.5p::GFP::unc-54-3' UTR + ttx-3p::GFP::unc-54-3' UTR] III. atf-7(qd22 qd130) suppresses increased pathogen susceptibiliy (Esp) of pmk-1(km25). References: Shivers RP, et al. PLoS Genet. 2010 Apr 1;6(4):e1000892.
CB7476 C. elegans him-8(e1489) IV; galt-1(op497) V. Show Description
Him. Resistant to fungal toxin CGL2; weakly resistant to Leucobacter Verde1. Him strain derived from pmk-1;galt-1 double mutant. References: Butschi et al (2010). O'Rourke et al (in preparation).
DA1750 C. elegans adEx1750. Show Description
adEx1750 [pmk-3::GFP + rol-6(su1006)]. Pick Rollers to maintain. Nuclear GFP in anterior and posterior intestine. [NOTE: adEx1750 contains a F42G8.4::GFP reporter construct. This array had been previously described as carrying a pmk-1::GFP reporter; the description of the array was updated in CGC records ~2016. islo-1, pmk-3, pmk-2, and pmk-1 are in an operon. The order of genes was described in Berman et al. as [pmk-1(F42G8.4)->pmk-2(F42G8.3)->pmk-3(B0218.3)], but the official WormBase gene names were assigned in reverse order [pmk-1(B0218.3)->pmk-2(F42G8.3)->pmk-3(F42G8.4)]. See Berman K, et al. Mol Cell Biol Res Commun. 2001 Nov;4(6):337-44. PMID: 11703092 for additional information.]
DV3327 C. elegans pmk-1(re170[pmk-1::mNG::3xFlag]) IV. Show Description
mNeonGreen and 3xFlag tag inserted at 3' end of endogenous pmk-1 locus. Fluorescent green signal detected in both cytosol and nuclei of all somatic cells; might be silenced in the germ line. Generated in an N2 background. Reference: Shin H, et al. Cell Rep. 2018 Sep 4;24(10):2669-2681. PMID: 30184501
FK171 C. elegans mek-1(ks54) sek-1(qd127) X. Show Description
Hypersensitive to copper and cadmium ions, and to starvation. [NOTE: Prior studies suggested possible cross-regulation of PMK-1 by MEK-1, but the identification of a tightly linked partial loss-of-function mutation in sek-1(qd127) in the strain carrying the mek-1(ks54) mutant allele (K. Reddy and D. Kim, unpublished data) suggests that the diminished PMK-1 activation observed in this mutant strain may actually be due to diminished SEK-1 activity.]
PRJ112 C. elegans mutEx70. Show Description
mutEx70 [pmk-1::GFP + rol-6(su1006)]. Rollers. Pick Rollers to maintain. [NOTE: This strain has been incorrectly referred to as RP112 muEx70.] Reference: Mertenskötter A, et al. Cell Stress Chaperones. 2013 May;18(3):293-306.
