MQ887 C. elegans isp-1(qm150) IV. Show Description
Slow development and behavior. Grows better at 15C.
BC14279 C. elegans dpy-5(e907) I; sEx14279. Show Description
sEx14279 [rCesF42G8.12::GFP + pCeh361]. Maintain by picking WT. WT animals are GFP+. Strain construction supported by Genome British Columbia and Genome Canada. Please acknowledge McKay et al, Cold Spring Harbor Symposia on Quantitative Biology 68: 159-169 2004 (WBPaper00006525).
MQ1050 C. elegans daf-16(m26) I; isp-1(qm150) IV. Show Description
Slow development.
MQ989 C. elegans isp-1(qm150) IV; ctb-1(qm189). Show Description
Slow post-embryonic development and behavior.
VC520 C. elegans isp-1(gk267) IV/nT1 [qIs51] (IV;V). Show Description
F42G8.12. Homozygous lethal deletion balanced by GFP-marked translocation. Heterozygotes are WT with pharyngeal GFP signal, and segregate WT GFP, arrested nT1 aneuploids, and non-GFP gk267 homozygotes (mid-larval arrest). nT1[qIs51] homozygotes inviable. Pick WT GFP and check for correct segregation of progeny to maintain. Attribution: This strain was provided by the C. elegans Reverse Genetics Core Facility at the University of British Columbia, which is part of the international C. elegans Gene Knockout Consortium, which should be acknowledged in any publications resulting from its use. NOB142 C. elegans daf-2(e1370) III; isp-1(qm150) IV/nT1[qIs51] (IV;V). Show Description
Maintain at 15-20C: will form dauers at higher temps. Slow growing. Pick GFP+ to maintain. Heterozygotes are GFP+ and segregate WT GFP+ hets, arrested nT1[qIs51] aneuploids, and non-GFP daf-2(e1370); isp-1(qm150) homozygotes (sterile). Homozygous nT1[qIs51] inviable. Pick WT GFP and check for correct segregation of progeny to maintain. [NOTE: Originally published daf-2(e1370); isp-1(qm150) strain MQ876 was found to not actually contain the daf-2(e1370) mutation. This strain was made to study the double mutant and revealed that daf-2(e1370); isp-1(qm150) homozygotes are inviable/sterile.] Reference: Cooper et al. In preparation.
