GFP tag inserted at the 3' end of the endogenous daf-16 gene locus by CRISPR/Cas9 engineering. The GFP fusion tag does not interfere with the function of DAF-16 protein. DAF-16::GFP is expressed ubiquitously in most or all somatic tissues, including neurons, intestine, body wall muscles, and hypodermis, and also in the germ cells and oocytes.
