CB3911 C. elegans dpy-27(rh18) III; 4A;3X. Show Description
Non-Dpy 4A;3X hermaphrodites segregating 4A;3X hermaphrodites, 4A;2X males and dead or very dumpy 4A;4X hermaphrodites. Reference: Strain 19 in Hodgkin (2002) PMID: 12399387
CB6129 C. elegans dpy-27(rh18) III; fem-1(hc17) IV. [4A;3X] Show Description
Temperature-sensitive: Maintain at 15C. Stable, temperature-sensitive tetraploid strain: fertile 4A;3X hermaphrodites and 4A;2X males at 15C; fertile 4A;3X females and feminized sterile 4A;2X males at 25C. Reference: Hodgkin (2002) PMID: 12399387.
DR1410 C. elegans dpy-27(y56)/qC1 [dpy-19(e1259) glp-1(q339)] III. Show Description
WT strain which segregates WT, Dpy and DpySteriles (or WT Steriles if grown at 15C.) Maintain by picking WT. dpy-27 animals are mildly Dpy and Egl with protruding vulva. Maternal effect: dpy-27 homozygotes from het parent give severe Dpy hermaphrodites which are marginally viable and give more severe Dpy hermaphrodites and WT males. Males are vigorous and mate well. JEL1197 C. elegans wrdSi3 II; dpy-27(xoe41[dpy-27::AID::myc]) III; him-8(me4) IV. Show Description
wrdSi3 [sun-1p::TIR1::F2A::mTagBFP2::AID*::NLS::tbb-2 3'UTR] (II:0.77). Endogenous dpy-27 locus tagged with AID element and myc to create a conditional allele using the auxin-inducible degron (AID). In absence of auxin, ~40% of worms are male due to him-8(me4) mutation. In the presence of auxin, ~100% of worms are male (hermaphrodite-lethal due to degradation of AID-tagged DPY-27). OP32 C. elegans unc-119(ed3) III; wgIs32. Show Description
wgIs32 [dpy-27::TY1::EGFP::3xFLAG + unc-119(+)]. TY1::EGFP::3xFLAG tag inserted in frame at C-terminus of coding sequence by recombineering. Expression of transgene confirmed by GFP.
