AU133 C. elegans agIs17 IV. Show Description
agIs17 [myo-2p::mCherry + irg-1p::GFP] IV. GFP in pharynx and intestine that turns on upon infection with pathogenic Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain PA14. Reference: Dunbar TL, et al. Cell Host Microbe. 2012 Apr 19;11(4):375-86.
AWR73 C. elegans aaim-1(kea22) X. Show Description
aaim-1 mutants are resistant to infection by N. parisii, but sensitive to infection by Pseudomonas aeruginosa PA14. No defects in development or lifespan were observed. Reference: Tamim El Jarkass H, et al. eLife. 2022;11:e72458. PMID: 34994689.
ERT16 C. elegans jyEx4. Show Description
jyEx4 [zip-2::GFP + myo-2p::mCherry]. Pick animals with mCherry+ pharynx to maintain. Array is stable; might have integrated. ZIP-2::GFP protein is only expressed in the intestine when animals are infected with pathogenic Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain (PA14) or when other processes (e.g. translation) are perturbed (see Dunbar TL, et al. for more information). Reference: Dunbar TL, et al. Cell Host Microbe. 2012 Apr 19;11(4):375-86.

WE5172 C. elegans dpy-5(e907) I; ajIs1 X. Show Description
ajIs1 [rCesC05A9.1::GFP + dpy-5(+)] X. GFP expression driven by 300bp sequence upstream of pgp-5 gene. Weak intestinal fluorescence is visible under normal conditions. Derived by insertion of sEx864 in parental strain BC10030. Pathogens, heavy metals, and toxins (e.g. Pseudomonas aeruginosa, cadmium, G418) further induce GFP expression. dpy-5(e907) was likely removed by outcrossing, but might still be in the background.
