Rearrangement Information

NamesDp2 View on WormBase
DescriptionHandling: sDp2-bearing males mate and give some progeny, but are slow growing and do not compete well with non-Dp males in mating. Recommended use: General balancing, strain maintenance, mutant screens. Summary: Free duplication, well characterized, does not recombine with normal homologues. Very effective balancer for the left portion of LG I from the left end through unc-15 (just left of unc-13).
